Hawkeye: Freefall #1

Hawkeye: Freefall #1

Writer: Matthew Rosenberg

Artist: Otto Schmidt

This was a wild and fun start to what’s going to be a great, fun to read series, It always seems like when writers take on Clint Barton, they put him in situations that are WAY over his head and he has no right to even be in the middle of, but’s that the charm and heroic character of Hawkeye to a T. Besides being the best archer in the world he has no other powers than his extreme confidence in his skills and his ability to find trouble! Without giving away any spoilers the hook of this book is that Ronin, one of Clint’s past aliases, was seen doing some bad things and it’s up to himself, Falcon, and Bucky to find out who is behind it all. The writer is Rosenberg who just finished an epic run with the Punisher, the series where he steals the War Machine armour! And the art by Schmidt is dynamic and shows a lot of character! This will be a very fun series.
